Communications Officer
Red Dot Foundation
At Red Dot Foundation / Safecity, I lead digital campaigns, editorial content, and outreach strategy. My work spans end-to-end campaign production across platforms, partner organisations, and field teams. Most of what I do sits at the intersection of feminist communications and behaviour change: figuring out how to say something that actually shifts how people think.

Anti Street Harassment Week 2026: Reclaim Your Space
Digital Campaign/ Behaviour Change Communications
International Anti-Street Harassment Week is a global annual campaign observed across 50+ countries. For 2026, Red Dot Foundation / Safecity ran it under the theme "Reclaim Your Space," shifting the narrative from individual safety tips to collective ownership of public space. I led the full communications scope: campaign strategy, carousel and reel scripts, collaborator concept notes, influencer briefs, and field team training materials.
Over the campaign period of April 10–25, 2026, the digital outreach generated 107,600+ impressions and reached 32,190 accounts across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X. Instagram drove 88% of total impressions at 95,000, reaching 30,184 accounts — reflecting the platform's centrality for advocacy-led visual storytelling. LinkedIn generated 5,764 impressions reaching 2,006 members, while Facebook contributed 4,202 impressions and X recorded 2,667. Collaborations with social activists, creators, and civil society leaders extended reach well beyond Safecity's existing networks, with engagement designed to continue beyond the campaign window.

The Infinite Saree
Public Advocacy / Legal Reform
The Infinite Saree is a public advocacy campaign by Red Dot Foundation built around the world's longest saree — four kilometres of fabric carrying signatures, embroidered messages, and a single demand: the removal of the Marital Rape Exception under Indian criminal law. Custom-made by designer Nivedita Saboo, the saree functions as both garment and manifesto. Unveiled at the Royal Opera House, Mumbai, and showcased across nine days at the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival 2026, the campaign brought conversations on consent, dignity, and legal reform into one of India's most prominent cultural spaces. A moderated panel discussion featured voices from the Supreme Court, survivor advocacy, and civil society.
My role spanned the full communications picture — content planning, social media storytelling, campaign messaging, and real-time coverage of live events and activations. I coordinated and captured media bytes and testimonials, developed captions, amplified the petition, and kept the narrative sensitive, cohesive, and consistent across digital and on-ground spaces.
The campaign generated nearly 196 million earned press impressions and approximately 11 million potential social media impressions, with coverage across The Indian Express, Free Press Journal, Business Wire, and HerStory. The physical installation sustained public engagement across nine days at the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival, reaching students, families, artists, and festival visitors and transforming a high-footfall cultural space into a site of civic dialogue on consent and constitutional rights.

Vital Voices Mentoring Walk 2026
Partnership / Community Engagement
The Vital Voices Global Mentoring Walk 2026 was a mentorship and leadership initiative by Red Dot Foundation / Safecity, part of the global Vital Voices movement. It brought together women leaders and young girls from partner NGOs for guided mentorship conversations around confidence, career aspirations, and personal growth — creating intergenerational connections for girls from underserved communities.
My role covered communications and creative execution end to end. I led social media strategy and content across Instagram, LinkedIn, and X — promotional posts, testimonial storytelling, quote creatives, and event recap content. I developed visual communication ideas for branded event collateral including standees, selfie frames, and thank-you cards, and coordinated with printers, photographers, and the venue for production. I shaped the storytelling direction through emotionally grounded content and participant testimonies, and managed post-event media assets, reel concepts, and documentation.
The campaign reached 2,752 accounts and generated 6,517 impressions across platforms. Collaborations with partner organisations Bright Future and SNEHA extended the campaign's reach while maintaining a unified visual identity and messaging, with hashtags including #GlobalMentoringWalk and #LightingThePath connecting the initiative to a broader global movement on women's leadership.

16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence
Advocacy / Awareness Campaign
The 16 Days of Activism is a global annual campaign running from 25 November to 10 December. Red Dot Foundation / Safecity used the period to raise awareness around gender-based violence through on-ground engagement and digital advocacy, running sessions with schools, organisations, and young girls across cities on safety, consent, digital awareness, and the everyday realities of violence in physical and online spaces. The initiative also addressed technology-facilitated harm and online abuse.
I led communications and content direction across the initiative, developing the digital storytelling strategy, creating social media content and copy across platforms, conceptualising awareness and resource-based posts, coordinating messaging around digital safety and collective action, and shaping the visual and editorial tone of the campaign recap and advocacy materials.

Safecity X Spaces — Research, Communications & Moderation
Public Dialogue / Research Communications
A series of global X Spaces hosted by Safecity examining gender justice, digital safety, conflict, media, masculinity, and structural violence. Sessions brought together journalists, activists, academics, policymakers, and cultural practitioners for critically grounded public dialogue on issues ranging from AI-driven gendered hate and online abuse to women and peacebuilding, masculinity and male allyship, digital feminism, and gender justice movements beyond #MeToo.
I led research, scripting, and communications across the series - developing session concepts, moderator scripts, speaker briefs, discussion frameworks, and outreach communication. The work centred on translating complex socio-political issues into conversations that remained accessible, survivor-centred, and intersectional. I also supported live moderation flow, audience engagement, and conversational direction during sessions.
